NAPA, CA – The community is invited to learn about emergency preparedness, Napa County programs and services and more at the Napa County Emergency Preparedness Resource Fairs coming in May to downtown Napa and Upvalley.
The family-friendly events will feature giveaways, raffles, a scavenger hunt, helpful resources, a kids coloring table and equipment like fire trucks and patrol units. In addition, staff from county departments, municipalities and partnering organizations will be present to educate the community, including the Napa County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office, Health and Human Services Agency, County Executive Office, Office of Emergency Services, Sheriff’s Office, Napa County Fire, Community Emergency Response Team, Napa Valley Community Organizations Active in Disaster, Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership and more.
The Office of Emergency Services will be promoting emergency preparedness, including the new Alert Napa County. Staff will be on-hand to help the public sign up for the new emergency notification system.
Food truck vendors will be present for the public to purchase food and drinks.
