Let’s Go to the Movies!Bringing back the family fun of the Drive-in movie theater, TEAM Morales Events presents “Napa Movie Nights” at the Napa Valley Exposition. Classic movies will be shown every Thursday through Sunday, at 8:00 p.m., with gates opening at 6:45 p.m. from mid October through December. Opening Weekend kicks off Friday, October 16. Thursday night movies will be favorites from the 80s & 90s, Fridays and Saturdays will be family-friendly movies and Sundays will be classic films.
TEAM Morales Events will project movies on a 40′ wide x 20′ tall inflatable screen. All movies will be viewable from within your car. The cost is $40 per vehicle and includes access to the “Feast It Forward” virtual culinary segment with Katie Hamilton Shaffer. Face coverings and social distancing will be required outside of your vehicle.Parking tickets, movie schedule, event rules and all other details are available at www.teammoralesevents.com and the “Napa Movie Nights” Facebook page.
Local nonprofit groups have been signed on as volunteers and will receive a generous donation each week for their service. Duties will include greeting guests using a touchless ticket entrance for check-in, directing cars to secure 10′ spaces (with 6′ in between for safety),circulating throughout the parking lot to direct moviegoers to concession areas and restrooms,and exiting out after the screening. Groups will also assist with distributing pre-ordered meals and snack boxes, all ordered in advance through the ticketing system. The featured “Nonprofit of the Week” will have an opportunity to show a short video before each movie, with additional promotion on the event website and in social media. There will also be an opportunity for guests to donate to the Napa Valley Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund.
