Ayesha Curry and her sister-in-law, Sydel Curry, visited Napa this past weekend, enjoying an overnight stay at the Archer Hotel and dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak Napa.
Rumors have been floated around that the wife of Golden State Warriors future Hall of Famer Stephen – who’s also a superstar brand in the respective worlds of food and wine, beauty and all things family and parenting – was possibly scouting a future site for her restaurant venture International Smoke (recently announcing a second locale in Houston); or perhaps there’s a Curry wine label on the horizon; or maybe it was just a “girl’s getaway” to celebrate Sydel’s engagement to Atlanta Hawks guard Damion Lee.
Whatever the case, it’s encouraging to see the ‘first family’ of the Bay Area taking stock in our community.

Check out Small Business Connect:
There’s a new communication tool on the new napachamber.comthat I encourage members to check in daily for very important information supplied to you by the Napa Chamber.
We’ve included a daily newsfeed from the Cailfornia Chamber of Commerce (CalChamber), a nonprofit organization who serves as the largest business advocate and HR compliance resource for state employers.
You will see tabs from CalChamber, HR California and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), another nonprofit association dedicated to furthering the Chamber profession and the individual professional development of its members.
SBC will also provide free webinars and blogs, with workshop schedules still to come. SBC gives us a unique ability to engage, connect and collaborate with our members on a daily basis, but it all begins with going to napachamber.com to begin the process.
