Which Candidate Will Speak To My Business Concerns?

The Chamber Endorses Business-Friendly Candidates

The best way to insure a healthy business climate is to elect business-friendly officials. The Chamber, recognizing that it’s difficult for business people to stay abreast of all the issues, spent nearly two years developing an extensive vision for Napa’s future. Based on interviews with civic and community leaders, the vision addresses Economic Vitality, Education, Transportation,   Housing/Jobs Balance, Protection of Natural Resources and Leadership.

Candidates for Napa City Council, Napa County Board of Supervisors, State Senate, Assembly and Congress are all invited to participate in the Chamber’s endorsement process. Interviews, with questions based on the above areas of the vision, are asked of any candidate who chooses to compete for the Chamber’s endorsement.

The candidates whose answers most closely match the Chamber’s vision and could be considered “business friendly” may earn endorsement by the Chamber’s Candidate Endorsement Committee. The Chamber supports our member businesses by supporting candidates that recognize and acknowledge that many City and County functions are paid for by business and that it is important to keep the business climate strong in order to maintain a vibrant economy in Napa.
