including (but not limited to) the E-Newsletter, Hot Sheets, Events,
the Annual Community Profile, Co-Op 4-color Postcard Program, and more.
The Chamber website lists all Chamber members free of charge. If you
need a website, the Chamber can create a customized website for you at
a minimal fee.
The Challenge: Transportation Issues
The Chamber’s Response: Infrastructure & Transportation Task Force
The Chamber remains extremely involved in the policy making processes
with local transportation authorities and local government as well as
advocating on behalf of funding requests from State & Federal
agencies. From van pooling to reduce congestion to major improvements
of highways, the Chamber works on your behalf to reduce traffic and
improve the flow though out the Valley.
The Challenge: Disaster or Crisis
The Chamber’s Response: We Provide Staffing For Emergency Response (Floods, Etc)
Chamber staff is volunteer (on call) emergency staffing for the
City. Maintains phone tree, and e-mail communications with all
businesses in Napa and assists with communication for floods,
earthquake, fire or other general emergencies to mobilize people to
handle the emergencies in a timely
manner.
We support businesses in crisis
The Napa Chamber supports member businesses when they need help due to
a disaster or emergency which leaves them unable to conduct business as
usual. Although there is some funds set aside to actually help the
business owner financially, generally the business is most appreciative
of the personal attention by Chamber staff and members. The Chamber
will waive membership dues for the year in some cases, and has also
been known to help with marketing when the business gets back on its
feet and is ready for customers.
