Barry Schuler
Former Chairman/CEO of AOL and Founder Blue Oak School
Barry Schuler has developed emerging technologies into successful
enterprises for the last 20 years. An acclaimed Internet pioneer, Mr.
Schuler spent more than seven years with AOL, where he was the chief
architect of the company’s success in developing products and services
that enriched the lives of more than 25 million households. Most
recently he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AOL.
Currently, Mr. Schuler is Chairman of The Meteor Group, an emerging
technology investment company and a Venture Partner, at Draper Fisher
Jurvetson, a leading Silicon Valley Venture Capital company.
Mr. Schuler is a co-founder of The Blue Oak School, Napa Valley’s only
non-denominational independent school. He resides in Napa with
his family at their Meteor Vineyards Estate.
