The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has just announced that its Small Business Toolkit is now online at www.CoolCalifornia.org!

Providing cost-effective strategies to simultaneously help businesses improve their bottom line while reducing their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is an integral part of the CARB’s implementation of the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32).

To this end, CARB staff developed a Small Business Toolkit designed to be the “one-stop” shop for information and resources to voluntarily reduce GHG emissions. The Small Business Toolkit includes specific climate-friendly actions to save money; information about where to find money to get started on climate retrofits; California success stories; a business specific carbon footprint calculator; and a small business award program. The Small Business Toolkit is now online at www.CoolCalifornia.org.
